Read, Reflect, Connect: A Collaborative Gifted Book Study – 9/21/2026

Join an interdisciplinary learning community to read, reflect, and collaborate on strategies for gifted learners.


How It Works:

Choose and Purchase Your Book: Select a title from the options and read on your own time.


Reflect & Connect: Use guided reflection questions between sessions to analyze key ideas through an interdisciplinary lens.
Collaborate via Teams Meetings: Participate in three virtual sessions featuring book-specific breakouts followed by a whole-group synthesis connecting insights across subject areas.

Phonics and The Alphabetic Principle (An Online Learning Course) – 3/15/2027

Do you teach young readers or struggling readers? Do you have reading and/or phonics limitations listed on your license(s) and need to complete the required coursework in the teaching of reading and/or phonics before renewing and/or advancing that license? This offering is for you!

Join other educators in this eight week on-line learning opportunity which will include asynchronous online lessons, readings and reflections packed into 4 learning modules. All assignments must be completed by the last day of the course.

Up to 3 semester hours available for additional purchase from Ashland University.

Instructions for accessing the Moodle Course will be sent to participants prior to the start of the online class.
