This five-session series, created for coaches, lead teachers, department heads, and other building leaders, is designed to develop highly accomplished instructional leaders.

Foundations of Intermediate Numeracy: Fostering Mathematical Success for Every Student – 1/26/2027

This professional learning series is designed to empower all educators and related providers in schools with a deep understanding of the foundations of intermediate numeracy, fostering mathematical success for every student. The emphasis will be on the understanding needed to master essential skills in intermediate numeracy, such as place value, fractions, multiplication, division, as well as mathematical fluency. Time will also be spent exploring resources for instruction, intervention, and assessment for intermediate numeracy.

Participants will engage in activities aimed at enriching their knowledge while also exploring effective strategies to support students in their learning journey.

Ashland Credit will be availabe for purchase if interested.

New mentors to the Resident Educator Program are required to successfully complete the 12-hour Mentor Academy Training to receive state mentor certification. The Academy focuses on the role of the mentor and the critical components of instructional mentoring. Mentors are introduced to the essential content of mentoring to prepare them to support the instructional growth and development of Resident Educators. This is a hybrid training requiring participants to access both the ODE Learning Management System and the Virtual meetings are held by Hamilton County ESC.
