The emphasis will be on the content knowledge needed to support mastery in students with essential skills in intermediate numeracy, such as place value, fractions, multiplication, division, as well as mathematical fluency. Time will also be spent exploring resources for effective intervention, assessment tasks for intermediate numeracy topics and reimagining math goals for Individualized Education Plans. Participants will engage in activities aimed at enriching their knowledge while also exploring effective strategies to support students in their learning journey.
