Creating Building-Wide Mathematical Success by Supporting a Strong Foundation in Numeracy

October 15, 2026

Join us for this two hour session designed for building level administrators and leaders that are interested in diving into a conversation about what a focus on numeracy could look like in their building. Come engage in conversations and activities designed to emphasize the important role Numeracy plays in a child’s mathematical success.

During this time, we will work to define what numeracy is, the importance it plays in the future success of our students, and experience some activities with concepts that set the foundations students need with numeracy.

Define numeracy and the concepts that build a strong mathematical foundation for students.

Discuss the importance a focus on numeracy can play in building wide mathematical success.

Construct a plan for initiating a strong foundation of numeracy within your building.
