Centering Student Identity in the Math Classroom – 2/15/2023

Teaching for Robust Understanding has published a list of five dimensions that make a “Powerful Classroom”. Often, the dimension of Agency, Authority, and Identity is frequently overlooked in professional development in planning and teaching mathematics. In this half-day PD, you will leave with strategies to center student voices, beliefs, and identities in the math classroom and data collection processes.
