TeleBlend Speech and Language Services

TeleBlend combines telepractice with periodic onsite visits, giving your students the benefits of both.

TeleBlend has been created for districts who have students identified as needing speech and language services and have difficulty finding a licensed and certified speech and language pathologist for full or part time positions. The SLP interacts with the students in real time via an internet connection. The SLP also makes periodic onsite visits to your school to provide direct therapy and to communicate with staff and parents. The SLP provides therapy and manages the identified caseload, conducts formal and informal assessments, attends parent teacher conferences, ETR/IEP meetings, and collaborates with the school team.

Research has documented the success of telepractice therapy to treat individuals with various speech and language disorders including articulation, autism, dysarthria, fluency, language, dysphagia, and voice disorders. Telepractice is approved by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
