An Early Learning and Literacy Specialist (ELLS) works in each State Support Team region throughout Ohio. The primary role of the ELLS is to deliver high quality professional development (including both content and into practice work) to: 1) meet the needs of early childhood educators in diverse settings; and 2) meet the requirements for the Office of Early Learning and School Readiness required professional development approval process.
