The recent reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (NCLB) and the Individual with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEIA) provides great opportunities to align core content standards for teaching and learning, for meeting the accountability standards for all students, and for building the capacity to meet the diverse needs of all students. Through power point presentations, model forms and procedures, and strategies for aligning federal and state laws/regulations, a positive outcome for students and families in southwest Ohio will be realized.
