WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
A growing presence of diversity in culture, ethnicity, and language has challenged the early childhood programs in Cincinnati. This session will introduce some of the challenges faced by early intervention specialist and offer a conceptual framework for working with diverse learners and family populations.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
Participants will:
1) Participants will be able to describe the challenges that students and families encounter in our school settings.
2) Participants will be able to identify typical stages of a second language and culture acquisition.
3) Participants will be able to analyze acculturation levels and its implications for designing instruction.
PAYMENT POLICY:
You may complete your registration, however, payment in the form of a check, a copy of the Purchase Order or the Purchase Order #, or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only), must be received prior to the Event.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
