WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This six-hour training is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills to recognize and manage communicable disease in the early childhood setting. The course meets the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services communicable disease training requirements for Ohio Child Care Licensing Rules for staff in early childhood settings.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES:
Participants will:
1) Describe common communicable diseases and how they are spread.
2) Describe the classroom and parental responsibility in preventing the spread of childhood diseases.
3) Identify three chronic health disorders and the care giver's responsibility for each disorder.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
