Ohio Award
for Excellence Achievement of Excellence Award 2001
Hamilton County Educational Service Center was one of
two Ohio organizations recognized for a Tier 3 Achievement
of Excellence Award. This advanced level of recognition
is reserved for organizations that have demonstrated,
through commitment and practice, significant progress
toward excellence. Organizations recognized at this
level clearly demonstrate results directly attributable
to deployment of a systematic approach, evaluation,
and implementation based on competitive factors. www.oae.org
Breakthrough
Practice Award - 2001
Hamilton County Educational Service Center was one of
five recipients of a Breakthrough Practice Award from
Ohio's BEST. Recognized for our effective implementation
of the Baldrige approach to continuous improvement,
HCESC is "Leading the Way for Performance Excellence".
This Award honors practices with documented exceptional
performance that is systemic in nature and that has
proven valuable as a model for other schools, school
districts, partnerships or communities. Recipients of
this Award have achieved dramatic results or improvements
that represent breakthrough progress toward improving
the performance of students, teachers, schools and other
educational organizations.
BEST Practice Award - 2001
Hamilton County Educational Service Center also received
one of 29 BEST Practice Awards from Ohio's BEST for
our "Data to the Desktop" service and product
development. This Award honors practices with documented
outstanding performance that is worthy of replication
and that should be broadened in scope to achieve greater
systemic impact. Recipients of BEST Practice Awards
have demonstrated an exemplary focus on quality, continuous
improvement, and measurable positive results.
Ohio Award for Excellence Commitment
to Excellence Award - 2000
Hamilton County Educational Service Center received
a Tier 2 Commitment to Excellence Award. This recognition
acknowledges organizations that have demonstrated a
serious commitment to excellence and a process for continuous
improvement. HCESC was recognized for having documented
a solid system-level approach to achieving excellence
and measurement of process results.
