EARLY LEARNING PROGRAM
The HCESC Early Learning Program, formerly known as Hamilton County Head Start, is committed to improving the coordination and collaboration of early childhood care and education services
for three-, four-, and five-year-old children in Hamilton County.
The major goal is to “ensure that every child in the Early Learning Program will arrive at school healthy, eager to learn, and ready to succeed.”

The HCESC Early Learning Program offers Head Start, Early Head Start (infants/toddlers), and Ohio’s new Early Learning Initiative (ELI) as options for families with limited resources. These programs, offered in public schools, childcare centers, and in school-linked family resource centers, lay the foundation for school achievement for years to come.

Giving children the basic social, emotional and academic tools as well as the health care they need to be better students improves our schools and communities.
